Berlin based casual games company shows new cross-platform projects – Creative Director, Michael Kalkowski, talks about “Team Cultures for Success”

From the 11th - 13th of February, GameDuell will present its current cross-platform line-up as a sponsor of Casual Connect Europe in Amsterdam. As one of the leading providers of casual games, the international developer and publisher will offer an insight into their current projects. On site GameDuell can be found at stand 402 in the conference center “Beurs van Berlage”. The team will place particular focus on the presentation of their current mobile and cross-platform projects. It will show current beta versions of their upcoming iOS, Facebook and HTML5 games for the first time.

As part of the conference program, GameDuell co-founder and creative director Michael Kalkowski will talk about team culture in successful companies at 10:30 am on the first day. In his presentation, titled “Team Cultures for Success”, he will explain critical factors that drive teams to creative excellence, innovation and inspiration to successful breakthroughs at some of the world’s best technology companies.

The development of casual games for Facebook and mobile devices In the last few years, GameDuell has placed emphasis on the production of entertaining and enjoyable mobile and Facebook games. The team develops native apps for iOS and Android and with the future web standard, HTML5. To offer them seamlessly across platforms it makes use of a specially programmed back-end game server which synchronizes all game related data. Completely new titles, as well as cross platform adaptations of the most successful games from the online portfolio, are currently in beta testing at GameDuell. The team plans to release them within the first quarter of 2014. Besides several new games, a mobile version of the popular GameDuell website is expected to be launched soon too.
