New Head of Studio Social and Mobile Games at GameDuell

GameDuell hires former Core Studio Director from EA/PopCap to drive its cross-platform move

GameDuell has won Todd English as new Head of Studio Social and Mobile Games to strengthen its accelerated move into the growing market of new games platforms. The US American comes from casual games developer and publisher PopCap, where he was responsible for the label wide strategy and product roadmap as Core Studio Director. With over a decade of development experience, Todd English will lead the development and product teams at GameDuell working on all Facebook and mobile games.

From 2011 through 2012 Todd was responsible for the complete product portfolio of the Asia Pacific offices of PopCap as Head of Studio. He started his career at PopCap, a subsidiary of Electronic Arts, as Senior Software Developer in the year 2008 and was responsible for a range of high-level IT and development projects. Todd will report directly to the board of directors at GameDuell.
