GameDuell’s new Art Director, Ian J. Bowden, will explain how design teams can create an outstanding brand experience for Social and Mobile Games

From the 4th to the 5th of February 2015 GameDuell will be presenting at Casual Connect in Amsterdam. The Berlin-based developer and provider of web, social and mobile games will give an insight into its current Cross-Platform products from stand 405 of the “Beurs van Berlage” conference center.

As part of the conference program, GameDuell’s new Art Director, Ian J. Bowden, will talk about his experience as the co-founder and former chief designer at Rockstar Leeds, where he was instrumental in Triple-A productions such as LA Noire, Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne 3 and the GTA series. On Thursday afternoon at 3:30 pm he will present his lecture, “From Core to Casual – Hard Lessons Applied Casually”, explaining what Casual Game developers can learn from Core Games regarding production standards. His talk will focus particularly on how lead developers can optimize the skills of their teams, how design teams can create an outstanding brand experience and the issues to be considered in the production of graphic materials for cross-platform use.

Conference attendees will also receive the unique opportunity to have their portrait drawn by the former Art Director of Rockstar Games at GameDuell’s stand on Thursday from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm and on Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. GameDuell has a number of new productions for different platforms due for release in the next few months.
