How does a good year come to an end? With a good party, correct. The GameDuell team came together to have its jamboree Christmas party last Friday! As the company was founded in late 2003 we also took the opportunity to celebrate our 10th anniversary.

With consternation and dismay GameDuell has followed the news that the typhoon Haiyan caused in the Philippines. In order to support immediate disaster relief for the people in the affected region, GameDuell donated 2.000 Euro to the disaster relief program of United Internet for UNICEF.

As part of its regular charity activities, GameDuell donated 5.000 Euro to the German child care institution Villa Südsee e.V. again. The donation was made in cooperation with the popular German actor Heiner Lauterbach and his wife.

Seasons in the sun: GameDuell summer party

 

Every year GameDuell organizes a big summer party for its staff of 200 team members. For this year’s summer event, we took two big buses to Wolziger See, a beautiful lake in the outskirts of Berlin surrounded by great nature. After we've built our own rafts in 15 groups and paddled them across the lake, we enjoyed many more activities like Beach Volleyball, Boule and Viking's Chess. The evening came to a relaxed end with a yummy barbecue, chat and many drinks.

GameDuell constantly strives to support socially and environmentally responsible projects and organizations. As a part of our regular charity efforts we have ordered 2,000 printed books from the sheltered workshops of Union Sozialer Einrichtungen (USE) in Berlin.
