Popular multiplayer card game now playable on three platforms with full cross-platform functionality
Card games are one of the top grossing genres in the app stores. Building on the recent success of its iOS and Android versions, GameDuell has now launched a Facebook version of its Grand Gin Rummy app. The popular multiplayer card game is now available on three platforms with full synchronous cross-platform functionality. After installing the Facebook version, players can enjoy the game in landscape perspective on their desktop screen for the first time. It features a new end of game flow that has also been rolled out to iOS and Android players with the latest updates. Grand Gin Rummy has been featured by Apple as one of the best new games in the card games category on the App Store in many countries all over the world since its launch at the end of February. A launch trailer is available on YouTube.
The first premium Gin Rummy App Gin Rummy is one of the most well-known card games in North America. It originated in New York during the 1920s – the time when art and culture flourished and when American cinema entered its golden age. GameDuell has recreated the atmosphere of the “Roaring Twenties” by inviting players to a stunningly designed grand hotel in the style of some of the most luxurious locations of the time. In this authentic setting, players can enjoy a game of Gin Rummy in a relaxed atmosphere and compete against other Gin Rummy enthusiasts from all over the world. Card game lovers will enjoy four different game modes including the famous “Oklahoma” variant.
“We want to offer our players the best Gin Rummy experience regardless of the platform they play on. Based on the synchronous cross-platform technology and multiplayer social backend infrastructure that we have built up during the recent years we are now able to quickly build our games and adapt them to additional platforms”, comments Kai Bolik, CEO of GameDuell.
